Asthma
Asthma is a disease or one can say that it’s a syndrome that could be associated with the inhalation and the exhalation of air that we breathe. This is because this is such a disease that affects the air way that is located within the respiratory system.
Airways are those tubes that carry the air that we breathe in and out of our lungs. All the patients that are affected by this disease are have swollen up walls of their airways. So it’s this swelling and inflammation that makes these airways very sensitive and this is how most of the patients just cannot tolerate any dust or even sometimes smells of any perfume or even spray paints.
But the main problem is not with the swelling of the airways, but with because these airways narrow down due to the reaction that is caused to them.
Asthma attack is something or an event that occurs when the symptoms become worse than their usual state and condition. Most of the patients’ state that they have some kind of feeling like someone is throttling their neck and in this way they feel that they are not able to breathe in the usual flow of air.
During the asthma attack the muscles that are around the airways tighten up and this makes the airflow even narrower that they usually are. Moreover this may become even worse if the person who is suffering from asthma has been infected with common cold too.
There are asthma attacks that are not of the same intensity, there are some patients that are affected with severe asthma attacks while there are some that have mild asthma attacks. So if you feel that you seem to suffer from the same kind of attack then consult and visit the doctor.
However this is a state of permanency because asthma cannot be cured but this surely can be controlled. There are some few points that need to be taken care of, and if you do then I am sure you would be able to control this disease.
Try to take care of your health when you are affected by this disease, remember if conditions get worse this would even take your life. Try and avoid things that are allergic and take your regular dose of supplements and medicines that have been prescribed by the doctor.
This would surely help to control and maintain the asthma, of course this would not get rid of it but surely prevent it from becoming worse.
