Ear Infections

The Ear infection also known as the “Otitis Media” is usually a very common issue for those of young children, who are mostly those kinder garden guys, but this can take place at any time and even at any age.

But usually this is seen only in that of young kids, grownups may have this problem but its very rare and this may occur only if an elderly person does not take proper care of his ears, such as he may not clean them properly with those ear buds and may not even take the pain to wash them during his bath and so on.

The main symptoms that may indicate the ear infection are the ear ache, along with giddiness and even feeling unwell, which would include high fever. Usually painkillers would do all that is required to heal them but sometimes when things may get too worse then you  may require something more than the usual check up by the ENT Specialist.

Therefore in  usual conditions it’s the painkillers that do the magic, but as said before you may also need to switch on to those antibiotics and other injections that may be prescribed in worse case scenarios. But this can be got rid off within few days, stipulated with the fact you take your daily dose of supplements and medicines.

In the ear infection, it’s the middle part or one can even say that the inner part of the year that gets infected. And it’s not the entire outer part along with the inner part that gets affected. This middle part of the ear that is located in the inner part of the head is called the “Ear Drum”, this I am sure most of you must have heard it.

There seems to be a small space behind the ear drum and it’s this part that gets affected when you have a ear infection or the “Otitis Media”.
