Pinched Nerve
I am sure, there are many that are affected with this pain and there are many who talk about it but few know what it actually is, even if they are affected by this one. But hey don’t panic I am there to tell you something about this.
A pinched nerve is the nerve on which pressure is applied to it. And this is the same when all those nerves have to undergo severe pressure due to the weight of the body. Usually a pinched nerve is usually caused because of the herniated disk that is exerting pressure.
The following are the symptoms of the pinched nerve:
Prickly sensation
Stabbing sensation
Weakness and tenderness
And even sometimes burning sensation
Pinched nerves are usually the nerves that are affected in the spinal cord and these tend to happen in the neck and the lower part of the back. This is because they seem to be those areas that are most moving and they often pain down the leg or even the arm. Sometimes even hard work and strenuous job can cause this kind of body pain.
But What Causes this?
Usually there are many reports and studies that point out that the pinched nerves are caused because of the nerve that is pinched. And these pinched nerves leave the spine by the herniated disc or the bone spurs that can form the spinal arthritis and it not only the neck but also some other places that are affected by these pinched nerves.
The carpal tunnel is another place where most of the people experience the pain that is caused by these pinched nerves. The reason is quiet simple, and this is because the carpal tunnel is the bottle neck area though, which all the finger flexor tendons and the median nerve must pass through.
And another reason why this is caused is because the neck and the carpal tunnel contain different connections of nerves that are directly linked to the nervous system. During the nerve pinch the patients often complain about the numbness that is caused in the hand, this is because the brain does not know how to tell the difference between the beginning, the middle and the end of the nerve.
During the nerve pinch the brain only knows that its not receiving signals from the hand and so therefore this numbness begins.
